Roof first
We look at your roof before we talk panels. Panels on a roof that needs replacing is money wasted.

What changed in 2026
Be careful who you listen to this year.
- The 30% federal homeowner solar tax credit ended on December 31, 2025. Anyone still promising it is wrong.
- Florida's sales-tax and property-tax exemptions for solar equipment have not changed. Ask us how they apply to your home.
- That is why an honest review matters now. We'll show you the real numbers, with or without the old credit.

Common questions
What happens to solar panels in a hurricane?
Panels are tested and installed to Florida wind-load requirements, and the roof under them matters just as much. That is why we check your roof first. The owner will walk you through how your system would be mounted and what the engineering and permit process covers.
My roof is old. Can I still go solar?
Maybe, but not always right away. If your roof needs replacing soon, it usually makes sense to do the roof first. We'll tell you honestly which comes first.
Do batteries keep my power on in an outage?
A battery can run the essentials, such as the fridge, lights and some of the AC, depending on its size and what you connect. Solar panels alone shut off during an outage for safety. The owner will go over what makes sense for your home.
Should I lease or buy?
They work differently, and the right answer depends on your house and how long you'll stay. We explain both at the review so you can compare. Please talk to a tax professional about your own situation.
